Nantucket's Gardiner’s Corner Compass mural, at the corner of Main and Washington streets, is a popular spot for selfies and tourist photos. It was originally painted by H. Marshall Gardiner on the side of his camera shop to commemorate destinations important to Nantucket's whaling industry. The shop is now a Ralph Laurel clothing store.
